Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

YST TECH operates YST TECH POS, a business management application for sales, inventory, invoices, quotations and related shop operations. YST TECH is based in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

2. Information we access

When you connect Google Drive, the application may access:

• Your Google Account name and email address to identify the connected account.
• Google OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the authorized connection.
• Backup files created by YST TECH POS in Google Drive, including the files required to create, list, update, restore or delete those backups.

The exact permissions are displayed on Google's consent screen before you approve access. YST TECH POS does not request your Google Account password.

3. How we use Google user data

Google user data is used only to:

• Connect the Google Account selected by the authorized business user.
• Create and store encrypted or application-generated POS backup files in Google Drive.
• Display backup status and available backup records.
• Restore business data when the authorized user requests it.
• Maintain, secure and troubleshoot the backup feature.

YST TECH POS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or share it with unrelated third parties. Data may be processed only by service providers needed to operate and secure the application, or disclosed when required by law. We do not allow humans to read Google Drive backup contents except when necessary for security, legal compliance or support requested and authorized by the account owner.

5. Storage, security and retention

OAuth credentials are stored using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Backup files are stored in the connected Google Drive account. Automatic backups may be retained for up to 180 days; older backups may be removed according to the application's retention settings. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so authorized users should also protect their Google Account and application credentials.

6. Disconnecting Google Drive and deleting data

You can stop future access from YST TECH POS by opening Admin → Settings → Google Drive Backup and selecting Disconnect Google Drive. You can also revoke access from your Google Account's third-party connections page. Disconnecting stops future backups and removes the application's stored authorization credentials. Existing backup files in your Google Drive may remain until you delete them or the retention process removes them.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request information about personal data associated with your account, ask for correction or deletion, or withdraw Google access at any time. Some records may be retained when required for security, accounting or legal obligations.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the application or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will always be published on this page.
